About our Individual Contributor frameworks

An Individual Contributor is someone who does not have anyone reporting to them. This framework provides a guide to your journey.

However, we believe that if people management isn’t your thing, this shouldn’t stop you in your progression here. We value technical experts and have provided a way for this expertise to be valued and progressed where possible. You may reach a fork in the road at around Individual Contributor Level 2, this is where you can either continue as an Individual Contributor or embark on the Management pathway.

This framework is the core, the management framework builds on this core to add in some additional competencies that are relevant to managing people and leadership in the business.
